- Look at your divots to determine if your clubs fit you properly. If your divot is deeper toward the toe of the club, chances are your shots go to the right of your target most of the time. If your divot is deeper toward the heal of the club, chances are your shots go to the left of the target most of the time. A perfect fit is when the divot is even.
